Other Information
I will be holding a group of rooms at a local hotel which includes a continental breakfast - more info to follow.

I'll also have maps and directions to local restaurants and parks.

I would LOVE feedback and thoughts on the schedule!!

Would also love feedback/comments/thoughts on the following:

1. Do we want to take a group photo at some point? Should we be in our Ethiopian outfits?

2. Are people interested in have a group contact sheet (ie names, hotel number, etc) for both during the reunion and then a contact sheet for once we are all home?

3. Would people be interested in meal time suggestions (ie - anyone wanting to can meet up at Applebees on Saturday at noon for lunch)? We wouldn't all have to sit at one large table but it would give us another chance to socialize. Let me know thoughts!!

2 comments:

  1. 1. love the idea of a group photo in ET outfits. but perhaps some family didn't purchase any or the right size.

    2. i would LOVE a contact sheet of all the families.

    3. how many people/families are we expecting? Could we rent out a banquet room at a restaurant perhaps? Or we could all just sit at tables in a regular restaurant.

    4. you didn't ask for ideas about this, but I am just throwing it out there. what about having some age appropriate activities at the park? Then families with little ones could have an activity, an activity for toddlers, and then for older children and teens. It may be too much work, but just a thought. so that kids won't be bored or for little ones to be trampled by the bigger ones.

Can't wait!!!! I think we can finally go to this one. You have already done a lot of work and I appreciate it all, so my ideas are just that...ideas and bainstorming...so no worries if you don't like them.
